Graduate students presenting a paper at the conference may apply to SCRC for travel assistance.

  1. A copy of the completed reading version of the proposed paper must be submitted by January 15, 2015, using the e-mail link given below.
  2. The awards will be determined by the SCRC Vice President, whose decisions will be based solely upon the competitive quality of the papers submitted.
  3. SCRC hopes that these awards, while not dependent upon matching funds from the recipients' institutions, will serve as seed money that students may use in soliciting additional support from their department chairs, graduate program coordinators, and/or graduate deans. SCRC strongly encourages the applicants' graduate advisors to use this occasion to tutor their students in the ins and outs of in-house funds solicitation.
  4. Checks will be presented at the Saturday morning Business Meeting at the conference. Recipients must read their paper in propria persona at the conference to receive their award.
